Our Nicholas Hor takes a keen interest in the area of medical law. When he first started practice, Nicholas' sole area of practice was medical negligence, where he defended medical practitioners and healthcare institutions in negligence suits and claims, as well as in disciplinary proceedings.
Our firm now acts for patients (and their representatives) who seek advice and advocacy in medical malpractice and negligence claims against doctors and other healthcare providers. Over the years, we have acted and succeeded in claims for patients and victims of various sub-par medical advice, diagnosis and treatments, ranging from misdiagnosis of cancer to a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) procedure gone wrong.
Our firm is on the panel of legal advisors of the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and the Malaysian Veterinary Medical Association (MAVMA).
